Strait Gold Corporation is a Canadian mineral exploration company active in Peru, one of the fastest growing mining areas in the world. Our focus is on gold, silver and copper in three active projects: Letra Rumi South, Culebrilla and Alicia.

Our Alicia project (copper-gold) is located in Cusco Department approximately 500 km southeast of Lima, within the prolific Andahuaylas-Yauri porphyry copper and skarn belt, host to several world-class deposits including Las Bambas (900 million tonnes at 0.9% copper), Haquira (686 million tonnes at 0.5% copper), Los Chancas (355 million tonnes at 0.6% copper) and Tintaya (158 million tonnes at 1.2% copper and 0.16 g/t gold) among others.

Our Letra Rumi South (copper-gold) and Culebrilla (gold-silver) projects are in Ancash Department about 325 km north of Lima, the same area of north-central Peru that hosts the Pierina gold mine (Barrick Corporation) and the Antamina base metals mine (BHP Billiton, TeckCominco, Xstrata Minerals and Mitsubishi).

Past exploration at Alicia has defined nine skarn zones at surface. Highlights of trench sampling returned up to 56m at 1.9% Cu, 0.18g/t Au and 12.7g/t Ag from trench Iris 5, and 32m at 2.8% Cu, 0.32g/t Au and 14.7g/t Ag from trench Iris 7. (These results are historical in nature and should not be relied upon.) We plan to drill-test the skarn potential at depth following mapping, sampling and geophysics to indentify the best drill targets.

We have identified drill targets at Letra Rumi South and are seeking community approval to proceed to the drill stage. At Culebrilla, we plan to conduct further detailed mapping and sampling on a previously untested zone where high grade copper-silver-gold veins are exposed.
